IT IS WITH DEEP REGRET THAT I ANNOUNCE TO YOU MY IMMEDIATE RESIGNATION AS MAYOR. I DO THIS FOR A VERY PERSONAL REASON WHICH I AM UNABLE TO DEAL WITH
AND ALSO ADEQUATELY CARRY OUT MY RESPONSIBILITIES AS MAYOR. I WILL ASSIST AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE IN THE TRANSITION. IT HAS BEEN AN HONOR TO SERVE YOU.
January 22nd 2-4 PM University Heights Community Center 1302 Melrose Ave. Community Reception Chief Ken Stanley's Retirement All community members invited.
192Ordinance providing for the adoption of 2015 Building, Residential,
Plumbing, Mechanical, Fuel Gas, and Electrical Codes, and repealing Ordinance 147
191 requiring developers to set aside park land, or pay a fee in lieu of that.
From the Mayor:
To the residents of University Heights. First of all I wish you all Happy New Year. We closed on our new community center and police station on December 28. The move has been completed though there is still quite a lot of work to be done.
We will have the January 10 council
meeting at the new community center. Most of the new furniture will not
arrive until after the January meeting. If you plan to attend on the
10th, please bring a folding chair. We are winging it on several fronts
for the next couple months. Please be patient as we work hard to get
all set up.
