Long Range Transportation PlanThe Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) of Johnson County is in the process of updating the MPO Long Range Transportation Plan to guide decisions about transportation improvements and funding for the next 25 years. The plan summarizes transportation information for the entire Iowa City Metropolitan Area including University Heights, and Johnson County. The Long Range Transportation Plan will be adopted in May 2012.
In accordance with the adopted 30-day public input process, we are informing you that written input received before April 30 will be forwarded to the MPO Policy Board for their consideration of adopting the plan.
Draft chapters of the plan are also available for review on the MPO website at:
