Because of the extraordinary rain event yesterday, Johnson County has applied to the State for a local disaster declaration. With this process, Johnson County needs to assess any damage to our cities, for example, damaged roads, flooded city property, etc. I also need to know about damages by this rain to personal homes as well. Please send me your name and addresses with a “rough” dollar amount of damages caused by this rain event (ex. flooded basements). I need this information by next Friday afternoon, April 26.
