- Recent Grant Awards 2014
- Thanks to the generosity of the Community Foundation of Johnson County and citizens of University Heights, the University Heights Community Fund had approximately $2800 available for funding purposes this year. Next year there will be an equivalent amount to donate only if matching donations are made to the University Heights Community Fund.
The University Heights Community Fund received more requests for funding than there were funds available. This year the following awards were made:- $250 to the University Heights Community Relations Committee to fund local events, such as the city-wide garage sale
- $1659.14 to the University Heights Garden Club to rebuild the retaining wall and upgrade the watering system.
- $300 to Triangle Park Improvement Project to refurbish the shelter at Triangle Park.
