        Recently a number of unlocked vehicles in the city have been entered with loose change and some electronic devices being stolen. While it is unsettling to have crime in your neighborhood, all of the vehicles were unlocked and no theft involved forced entry. Keeping your vehicles locked is a simple preventative measure.
        As always, keep a watchful eye for suspicious persons and call the non-emergency dispatch number 319-356-6800 or 911 to report a possible crime in progress.
